This time, I tried the newly updated “Kent True Rich Tobacco” on the Glo Hyper Pro in Standard mode to review its flavor and draw satisfaction.
Overall, it showcases an abundance of aroma rising naturally from the tobacco leaves, while the body and intensity remain moderate—making it an approachable option even for those who prefer a lighter tobacco style.
Right after heating, the warmth has not yet fully permeated, but with the second and third puffs the vapor gradually increases, building into a satisfying, well-formed draw.
Previously, some users may have found the vapor rather neutral and restrained in aroma and taste.
In the updated version, however, a lively, naturally toasted fragrance reminiscent of fresh tobacco leaf now spreads generously throughout the profile.
Compared with Kent True Tobacco from the same line, the difference in flavor richness and depth is striking.
Where Kent True Tobacco showed a slightly tangy note and a lighter body, Kent True Rich Tobacco presents a clean, cohesive profile with those contrasting layers beautifully smoothed out.
The vapor now feels clearer, fuller, and pleasantly rounded, with a sense of depth and very little airiness.
Throat roughness is also reduced and the overall flavor persistence is improved, so if choosing between the two, True Rich would be the recommended pick.
For long-time users, the aromatic impact of this revision may feel quite remarkable, while the overall richness and draw strength remain broadly in line with the previous version.
At launch it was considered one of the stronger options in the Glo range, but today it sits around a comfortable mid-level compared with Lucky Strike or Neo varieties.
Those seeking a very strong tobacco may find it on the lighter side, but for anyone looking for a refined regular in the light to super-light cigarette style, it’s an excellent match.
