This time, I’m sharing my impressions of Kent True Rich Menthol on the Glo Hyper+.On the very first draw… “wow, that’s icy!” Even before a full puff, a brisk bitterness and an intense wave of coldness sweep across the palate.As you exhale, a powerful cooling sensation rises from deep in the throat, leaving the mouth feeling almost sub-zero (in the best exaggerated sense).The tongue even tingles lightly, as if surprised by the sudden chill.The menthol hits quickly and decisively; its sharp, penetrating coolness lingers, while the peppermint flavor is strongly highlighted and aromatically vivid—making the overall chill feel even more pronounced.With familiarity, the sensation feels more balanced, yet the nasal cooling remains striking, allowing you to fully enjoy a consistently powerful icy experience throughout.Compared with the earlier True Menthol, it feels about 1.2–1.3× stronger in menthol intensity and bitter edge, with improved vapor persistence.The tobacco body and aroma have sufficient depth, and notably the cooling effect sustains up to around 16–17 puffs, which is impressive longevity.Impressions in Boost mode: when used in the higher-temperature Boost mode, the menthol strength stays similar, but the bitterness becomes more piercing and bold.Fans of a distinctly bitter, extra-crisp menthol will likely love this profile; for me personally, it leaned a bit too intense in that direction.
