This time, I tried Kent True Menthol on the Glo Hyper+ to review its flavor and draw satisfaction.Starting in Standard mode with the first puff.If you’re not used to it, the burst of intense cooling can feel striking enough to catch the throat, and the pronounced mint bitterness creates a layered, complex taste across the palate.That said, the initial vapor volume is relatively light, and with the slower ramp-up there’s little tobacco presence at first—more like enjoying pure menthol vapor in the opening moments.By around the fourth puff, the kick and body settle in and the profile becomes stable.Both flavor and satisfaction gain depth, though the strong menthol character keeps the overall sensation clean and brisk rather than heavy.Beyond about the tenth puff, the vapor begins to soften, and by the twelfth to thirteenth puff the menthol intensity also tapers, marking a natural finish point.As a refreshingly strong yet crisp menthol, it performs very well; those seeking a deeper, tobacco-forward richness may find its bright menthol focus distinctive.Because the menthol is so prominent, the throat scratch sometimes associated with glo is effectively smoothed out, and with relatively low inherent harshness, it feels notably gentle on the throat.Impressions in Boost mode: in the higher-temperature Boost mode, the menthol strength stays similar, while the mint bitterness and nose-tingling coolness become more pronounced.If you enjoy a bolder, more bitter menthol edge, using Boost mode is well worth trying.
