Here’s my review of the Mevius Apple Option when used with the Ploom X Advanced.
First, I tried it without crushing the flavor capsule.
Right after the first inhale, there’s a quick and sharp menthol sensation, though it doesn’t last long or spread deeply through the mouth and throat, offering a focused and straightforward menthol experience.
The vapor has a moderate richness, but the apple flavor is subtle, almost elusive.
It gives off a faint fragrance reminiscent of a light lotion, but the taste itself isn’t very distinct.
This suggests that the flavor largely depends on the capsule, and without crushing it, the taste feels somewhat understated.
Next, I crushed the capsule before heating and inhaling.
Wow! The juicy sensation is dramatically enhanced, far beyond a typical flavored menthol.
The rich apple flavor stands out with a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, delivering a refreshing fruitiness distinct from the menthol.
You can really feel the dedication from JT in crafting a genuine and satisfying flavor—not just a simple scent.
The flavor is quite strong for the first 3 puffs and remains pleasantly noticeable for several more.
On the other hand, the menthol itself is moderate to mild in strength, and initially, the vapor volume feels a bit lighter, which may give a slightly gentler draw.
The vapor intensity tends to improve as the flavor settles, but for those seeking a consistently strong draw, this might feel a bit delicate.
Overall, this stick is more about enjoying the crisp, fruity freshness than about a powerful menthol kick.
